Valentine's Day DNA Sales for 2019

Looking for a deal on a DNA test? There are Valentine's Day DNA sales going on right now.

Family Tree DNA
At Family Tree DNA, the Valentine's savings is on its FamilyFinder test. FamilyFinder is an autosomal DNA test that both males and females can take. Until February 14, 2019, a FamilyFinder is just $59 plus tax and shipping which is a savings of $20 off the $79 regular price. Family Tree DNA tests now come in a box suitable for gifting.

AncestryDNA
AncestryDNA, an autosomal DNA, is on sale for $59 plus tax and shipping until February 14, 2019. Its regular price is $99 so that is a $30 savings for Valentine's Day.

23andMe
23andMe is offering free shipping for its Valentine's Day sale. 23andMe is an autosomal DNA test with two options. The Ancestry Service is $99 and is similar to the autosomal DNA tests at other genealogy DNA testing companies. The Health + Ancestry Service adds a look at genetic health risks and carrier status reports to the traditional ancestry focus of autosomal DNA testing. Again, tax is extra.

MyHeritageDNA
Valentine also struck MyHeritageDNA. The MyHeritageDNA autosomal DNA is on sale for $59 plus tax and shipping until Feburary 14, 2019. Its regular price is $79 so that is a $20 savings for Valentine's Day.

LivingDNA
LivingDNA is a newer genealogy DNA testing company based in the United Kingdom that also offers an autosomal DNA that both males and females can take. The LivingDNA test is currently on sale for $79 plus tax and shipping. Its regular price is $99.

For more details on any of these tests, see our earlier posts using the labels located in the column at the left.

Also, remember that many of these DNA tests are also sold (even at sale prices) by these companies on Amazon.com where the cost of these tests qualify for free shipping whether you have Amazon Prime or not. (Prime members just get quicker shipping.) Just make sure you are buying from the official DNA company and not a third-party seller.
