Just a couple more days until RootsTech begins! Even if you are not going you can take part by viewing the Live Streamed Sessions.

Though the full Live Stream schedule has not been released yet, the FamilySearch Blog mentioned five that will air between Thursday and Saturday. Here are the ones I have found so far.

Thursday, Feb. 12
1:00 pm EST
30 Pieces of Tech I Can't Live Without presented by D. Joshua Taylor

Friday, Feb. 13
3:00 pm EST
Building a Genealogy Research Toolbox presented by Thomas MacEntee
6:00 pm EST
The Write Stuff: Leaving a Recorded Legacy, Personal Histories, Journals, Diaries and Letters presented by Valerie Elkins

Saturday, Feb. 14
10:30 am EST
The Global Family Reunion: How You Can Join the Biggest Family Ever presented by A.J. Jacobs
12:30 pm EST
Finding the Living Among the Dead: Using the Internet to Find Your Living Cousins presented by Amy Archibald

Syllabus materials are available now for a majority of the classes. Unlike last year, there is no option to download all the materials in a single compressed file. You have to go to each individual class listing, click on the link to that syllabus and select the download/save button in your PDF viewer.

As soon as the complete schedule is released I will let you know.

See you soon at the Mt. Clemens Public Library!
