Macomb County Obituary Index Database is Back Up ... Let the Searches Commence

The Macomb County Obituary Index on the Mount Clemens Public Library website is back up and running. You can find it on the Macomb History and Genealogy Databases page on the Mount Clemens Public Library's website.

Thanks to Duane Kleino, Carole Wolfe, and Dianne Sinning the following records have been added. Roseville Review 1926-1931, Vandyke- Center Line Press 1926-1928, & some missing dates from the Mount Clemens Monitor 1907, 1918 & 1919. There are now 284,677 obituaries in this database.

And as a reminder, because this is Memorial Day Weekend, our favorite library is closed from Saturday, May 25, thru Monday, May 27. It will reopen at normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. But you still have tomorrow, Friday, May 24, to check out materials or visit the Local History and Genealogy Room.
