Tonight is Our MCGG November Meeting: War Year 1943 in Macomb County

Tonight, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 7 p.m., is our MCGG and Let's Talk...Genealogy groups combined virtual meeting using Zoom Meeting. The topic of the meeting is  ... War Year 1943 in Macomb County presented by Beverly Bishop.

Using the Monitor Leader Newspapers front pages, we follow the big stories our ancestors lived through from January to December 1943. This includes German spies, gullible waitresses, Japanese Americans, hangings, shootings, war bonds, Nazi submarines, and the Homefront coping with rationing, gardens, home permanents and recipes.

MCGG members on the mailing list will receive the Zoom Meeting invite in the reminder email to be sent prior to the meeting. New attendees can obtain the invite link using the Library Events calendar on the website of the Mount Clemens Public Library.
