Saturday, March 19, is Genealogy Day in Sweden. So ArkivDigital is having an "open house" offering free access to its entire online historical archive on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20.
This offer is for those without a current ArkivDigital subscription.
ArkivDigital has a dedicated page set up to help individuals with the free weekend access. After registering you will need to download the software that the website requires to access its information. One neat thing about ArkivDigital is that a lot of the images are color images of the original documents and are not just black and white digitized microfilm.
So for those with Swedish ancestors, have fun searching.
