Mount Clemens Public Library Hosts Program on Beginning African American Genealogy on Monday, April 19, 7-8 p.m.

MCGG is helping our favorite library, Mount Clemens Public Library, publicize a few of its upcoming programs. 

Join MCPL via Zoom on Monday, April 19, 2021, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a program on African American Genealogy.


Cheryl Garnett, genealogist with the Fred Hart Williams Genealogical Society will do a Beginning African American Genealogy with a question and answer session. Garnett will be joined by Omer Jean Winborn who is also with the Fred Hart Williams Genealogical Society.

Besides informing attendees just beginning their African American research, Garnett and Winborn will also try to advise anyone with more advanced African American research questions.
