Tonight is the Night ! Our First In-Person Meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Clemens Public Library -- Welcome Back!

Our MCGG Let's Talk...Genealogy group meeting is TONIGHT, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the new time of 6:30 p.m. at the Mount Clemens Public Library's auditorium and Local History & Genealogy Room.

The topic is  ... Welcome Back/Open House.

This is our first in-person meeting in years! Let’s socialize, see/use the new Local History & Genealogy Room (LH&G Room) and tour the whole library.

Can't make it tonight? That is okay. Our MCGG Friday Group meeting is this Friday with the same topic.

Attend Friday, Wednesday or both. Aside from opening remarks, these are non-structured meetings where the mix of attendees adds to the meeting experience.

Please note: MCGG will try to host hybrid (in-person and virtual) meetings but it will not always be possible. The format and location (two rooms) for this month's meetings do not make hybrid an option. But we will try to record some moments from these meetings and put them on our YouTube Channel.

Besides this website and its South Eastern Michigan Genealogy Events Calendar as well as our social media, our MCGG meetings are posted on the Library Events calendar on the website of the Mount Clemens Public Library.

MCGG Releases Second Revision of its Winter/Spring 2023 Schedule

Did you see the good news? The Mount Clemens Public Library's Local History & Genealogy Room is reopening tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Noon to 6 p.m.

We have also revised our MCGG Winter/Spring 2023 Schedule for a second time. We noticed last month we had the wrong date for our April MCGG Friday Meeting. We will be meeting, Friday, April 14, not April 7. At the time we updated everything (calendar, meeting pages) but the schedule flyer because we were not sure when the LH&G Room would be reopening and didn't want to jinx anything.

See our Let's Talk and MCGG Friday meeting pages for the revised schedule PDF. The above image of the revised schedule is just a low-res image.

Sorry for any confusion. See you next week ... in-person!
