Try something different. Pick an ancestor to "Google" online using the name and known locations(s) to see if you get lucky in the search results, it is National Crazy Day.

Review your ethnicity-mix and pick one you do not know much about to research/learn more about it, it is United Nations Day.
We plan to have suggestions for each day of this month. Most will be smaller ideas to focus on for a day, some might be a little larger. We will try to have at least a couple suggestions so if one does not fit with your family history, hopefully the other will work.
October is Family History Month!
