Research the Southern ancestors in your family tree, it is Southern Food Heritage Day.

Research the military (especially the Calvary) in your family tree, it is General Pulaski Memorial Day.
or
Research a female or a few in your tree today, it is National Girl Child Day.
It is also: National Spread Joy Day, Vet Nurse Day, National Egg Day, Black Girl Day Off Day, and National Sausage Pizza Day.
We plan to have suggestions for each day of this month. Most will be smaller ideas to focus on for a day, some might be a little larger. We will try to have at least a couple suggestions so if one does not fit with your family history, hopefully the other will work.
October is Family History Month!
