Research your in-laws family, it is National Mother-In-Law Day.

or

Help a family member, friend or neighbor get started with genealogy, it is National Mentoring Day.

or

Research the family members in your tree who were involved in brewing or selling beer, it is National American Beer Day. While you are at it, search for those bootleggers too.

or

If you have old home movies consider digitizing them, it is World Day for Audiovisual Heritage Day. Check your local libraries, one might have a technology room or a things-to-go service with a movie film digitizing machine.

It is also: National Civics Day, National Tight End Day, and Visit a Cemetery Day.

We plan to have suggestions for each day of this month. Most will be smaller ideas to focus on for a day, some might be a little larger. We will try to have at least a couple suggestions so if one does not fit with your family history, hopefully the other will work.
